Collaboration Rado and Le Corbusier

Le Corbusier was a pioneering Swiss-French architect, designer, urban planner, and painter, recognized as a founding father of modern architecture. For Rado, known as the Master of Materials, his bold designs and use of modern materials and statement colours strike a chord with its own approach to watchmaking and appetite for innovation.

True Round Le Corbusier x Chandigarh "Noir d'Ivoire"

The watch celebrates Le Corbusier's capacity to conceptualise ideas on a truyly epic scale through his visionary plan for Chandigarh in India. Conceived as a completely new capital for Punjab, he imagined a more rational, efficient city with a geometric grid layout, shared principles for architectural design, and nature carefully integrated - a design legacy that would shape urban planning throughout the rest of the 20th century.

The watch in matt noir d'ivoire - with hands in green, yellow and orange - matches the colours of Le Corbusier's polychromie architecturale.
The dial is laser engraved with an abstract representation of the concrete surface texture of the Palace of Assembly in Chandigarh.

Available at Gilson Jewellers in Bruges.

True Round x Les Couleurs Le Corbusier "La Cité Radieuse"

A unique watch that pays tribute to La Cité Radieuse, a vast, concrete apartment building in Marseille, France, wich reimagined modern urban living.

The watch is presented in a unique ivory white ceramic, telling a story of pure, minimalist elegance.

True Round Le Corbusier x Cambridge "Gris foncé"

The watch honours the carpenter center for the visual arts in Cambridge, Massachusetts in the US. An evocation of its moulded concrete façade features on the dial, laser-engraved in high-tech ceramic.

The watch's hands contrast with the dial in the colours white, orange and green.
