The new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professionnal 200
The Aquaracer Professional 200 is offered with a 40mm or 30mm stainless steel case. Each model is equipped with a unidirectional rotating 12 facet bezel, with a water resistance up to 200 meters, and with an automatic mechanical or quartz movement. The Aquaracer Professional 200 is a tough yet sophisticated watch suitable for life's many adventures.
Last year, TAG Heuer breathed new life into the Aquaracer story with the Aquaracer Professional 300, the brand's ultimate luxury dive watch.
The new Aquaracer Professional 200 is more compact at 40mm (compared to 43mm), and also offers the option of a more discreet 30mm case. The bezel still has the minute scale, but is now made entirely of steel instead of the ceramic insert. The central link of the bracelet is polished and no longer brushed, giving the Aquaracer Professional 200 its more formal look, aiming to break the rules, from the sea to the mountains, at the office or during the weekend.
The differences are also present in the geometry of the display. While the Aquaracer Professional 300 has orthogonal hour-markers, an oversized hour hand and yellow details, the Aquaracer Professional 200 adopts the more classic codes of sports watchmaking, with its straight-edged trapezoid-shaped hour-markers, finer sword-shaped hands and luminescent white details. To make the dial easier to read, the markers and hour hands remain coated with Super-LumiNova®, but to create a more chic look, no luminescent material has been applied to the bezel.
The models of the new Aquaracer Professional 200 all offer different movements. The 40mm collection contains two automatic references and two quartz references, while the 30mm collection contains two automatic references and five quartz references.
